Hello. My name is Maggie H. and I am your 2007/2008 Western Vice President. I have been riding for 10 years and showing for about 8. I have been in 4-H for 9 years taking numerous awards for a number of different things. This will be my second year in HSC and ba Ba ba BA BAAAAA I'm loving it! I own, ride and currently show my 7 year old Palomino Gelding. His reg. name is A Dirty Gambler but everyone calls him Gambler we show all around but our main focus is western pleasure. I look forward to a great year with all our current members and new members. Thank you
 

Secretary-

Hello my name is Alex S. and I am the Secretary for the 2007/08 Horse Specialty Club. I have been in this club for four years. I am looking forward to continuing the rest of my journey in this club. I have three horses. I have a q/h palomino gelding and his name is Struttin On Top (a.k.a. Buddy), I have a paint/dun gelding named Satin Can Do (at the barn called Bentley) and I have a q/h/thoroughbred chestnut gelding named Ranger. I show Buddy Western and I will show Bentley English this year. He will be my jumping horse and I am really excited about that. I am in this club (Horse Specialty Club), and in PHBA (Palomino Horse Breeders Association). I work with multiple trainers. My mom, she helps me so much with the horses and I thank her so much for all of the things that she does for me and the clubs I am in. I also take lessons from Caitlin Bullock and she helps me a whole bunch as well. Other than my horse life, I also play music and as most people in club know me, they know that I am the KARAOKE QUEEN! I play the piano, guitar, and I sing. My dad is my coach for that. All my family, coaches, leaders, friends, and acquaintances have really been an inspiration and really encourage me to do the things that I do. I especially appreciate my parents because they give me all of the courage to go out there and do it and I thank them for hauling me all over town to do what I do. Riding horses and showing really makes my life worth living. I enjoy riding and showing horses as long as I can.
